COMPANY BIOS
Santiago Rodriguez Jr. possesses over 20 years experience in the private investigations industry, where he has served as an award winning investigator specializing in surveillance, disability, life and health, property and casualty, workers' compensation and foreign investigations. He has conducted bilingual investigations throughout Mexico, in the Central American countries of Panama and Costa Rica, and in the South American countries of Ecuador, Peru, Brazil and Columbia. During the last decade, Santiago has also performed the duties of supervisor and manager of surveillance, workers' compensation, subrogation, and foreign life and health investigation departments.
In January 1969, Santiago entered the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Academy and was quickly promoted through the ranks from Cadet to Patrol Lieutenant. He served in law enforcement for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department for 23 years. During the majority of that time, Santiago conducted private investigations for several firms and acted as a personal bodyguard for numerous foreign dignitaries and well-known celebrities.
In May of 1986, Santiago appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show as a guest explaining his involvement with one of the most remembered national events of the 80's, Hands Across America. He served as the Director of Security for the State of Illinois providing anti-terrorist countermeasures and insuring the safety of all participants and personnel involved. Santiago organized and directed over 4,600 individuals including, police, fire, medical personnel and emergency response units. Due to his expertise and leadership, both on the ground and in the air, the event ran smoothly and without incident.
Since the inception of Excaliber Investigations, Santiago Rodriguez Jr. has stated, "I have always felt that there is a great need for providing timely, high quality investigations coupled with excellent customer service at a reasonable rate.
